Questions & Answers
Why is oral health so important?
Oral health affects much more than your teeth. It influences your overall health, confidence, ability to eat and speak, and even systemic conditions like heart disease and diabetes. A healthy mouth is a major part of a healthy body.
What causes cavities?
Cavities form when bacteria in your mouth feed on sugary or starchy foods and produce acids that erode tooth enamel. Good brushing, flossing, and regular cleanings significantly reduce your risk.
Are electric toothbrushes better than manual?
Electric brushes often remove more plaque and reduce gum inflammation, but the best toothbrush is the one you use consistently and correctly. Technique matters just as much as the tool.
Do I really need to floss every day?
Yes! Flossing removes plaque between teeth where a toothbrush can’t reach. Without flossing, you’re missing about 40% of tooth surfaces.
